Jeuveau™ Injections:
What to Expect

Before your procedure, your injector will discuss the process with you, such as how many vials of Jeuveau™ will be needed to achieve the desired results. You will also be advised to temporarily discontinue certain medications and supplements for a designated period before your appointment. The provider will also ask you about your history of allergies. 

During the procedure, the injector will then inject Jeuveau™ into the specific areas you discussed. Some patients experience a mild temporary burning feeling as the Jeuveau™ is injected. The injector will then apply light pressure to each spot with a cotton ball for a few seconds and gently blot or massage the area.  

The Jeuveau™ Procedure

  • We use a very fine needle to inject small amounts of Jeuveau™ into the targeted facial muscles.
  • The number of injection sites can vary depending on the size of the treatment area and the desired outcome.
  • You may feel a slight stinging or pinching sensation during the injections, but it is generally well-tolerated.
  • The entire procedure typically takes 10-20 minutes, depending on the number of areas being treated.

Following the procedure, avoid rubbing or pulling at the injection site as it may cause bruising. While bruising is uncommon, you may have slight bruising at the injection site, which will dissipate in a few days. Your provider will advise you on specific aftercare. Most patients will notice an immediate improvement in their appearance and will realize the full results in 2-3 days.
