Whether you’re new to GloLux Medspa or aesthetic treatments in general, you’re likely curious about your first med spa visit and how you can best prepare. Fortunately, we’ve streamlined our processes for maximum client comfort and convenience.
After you’ve scheduled your first appointment, there are a few things you can do to ensure a smooth visit.
Complete Your New Client Forms
We recommend all clients complete their new client forms before their first appointment. This speeds up the check-in process, helps reduce potential wait times, and allows our staff to reach out with questions before your appointment.

Cosmetic Consultation Cancellation Policy
Life happens, and we understand you may need to cancel or reschedule your first med spa visit. To best accommodate client needs and provider schedules, we request that you make any changes at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment time.
Clients who cancel or reschedule within less than 48 hours will forfeit their $50 deposit and cannot receive a refund or apply it toward the costs of products and services.
We do not provide refunds for no-show clients.

Pre-Appointment Do’s & Don’ts
Do Not
- Do not drink alcohol for five days before an injectable or microneedling appointment, as this can increase the risk of bruising and swelling
- Do not take any NSAID pain relievers, such as Ibuprofin, Aleve, Aspirin, or Motrin, for at least five days before an injectable or microneedling appointment, as they can increase the risk of bruising and bleeding
- Do not use topical Vitamin A products, like Retin-A or Tretinoin, for at least five days before an injectable, peel, or microneedling appointment, as this can cause irritation
- Do not take blood-thinning supplements, such as Vitamin A, Vitamin E, CoQ10, Omega-3 fatty acids, or cod liver oil, for at least five days before an injectable or microneedling treatment, as they increase the risk of bruising & swelling
Do
- Do avoid direct sun exposure for at least five days before peels or microneedling, as it can lead to irritation
- Do clean your skin thoroughly before your appointment
- Do be honest about your medical history and medications
- Do ask questions and share any concerns so we can ensure the best experience possible
- Do let your provider know about your specific aesthetic goals
